The “Accelerated Curriculum” for Home School Graduation
Middle School / High School Course Work
It is in the tradition of The Brooks Academy to host a professional graduation to highlight each home school scholar. The minimum requirements must demonstrate a “College Ready” aptitude.
Note: The Academy Scholar does not have to be on an “advanced level” to participate in the “Accelerated Curriculum”.
Our Mission and Job is to bring the student from any level to the “advanced” level without using the words “rigorous” or “busy work”!
Any Academy Scholar who aspires to the “Accelerated Curriculum” will receive a customized curriculum to meet, at minimum, the STATE’S standards. National standards apply for those seeking graduation.
In order to receive a High School Diploma and Transcript endorsed by one of the Academies, a student must pass the ACT standardized test with a minimum score of 21, or the state’s minimum score for state funded scholarship (i.e., HOPE scholarship).
Elementary and Middle School Scholars only need to pass the grade level assessments approved by the Brooks Academy.
CONGRATULATIONS TO ABBY MEADOWS! Middle School Graduate, 2019
